Starting tomorrow officials will be conducting a draw down at Parker Lake in Clearfield County.
It will allow crews to begin working on scheduled repairs to the dam’s control tower and spillway area.
This month the lake’s surface will be lowered by about 5 feet for work on the control tower.
The water level will then be returned to about one foot below normal for the rest of the project which is expected to finished in May.
Visitors are asked to use the lake at their own risk during this time as fishing & boating will be impacted.
