According to the Bellwood Police Chief there was a partial roof collapse last night in Blair County.
The incident happened at a vacant building on the 400 block of Main street in Bellwood.
The Chief tells us, it’s been vaccant for the past 15 to 20 years.
Part of the roof on the front of the building caved in.
There is a notice on the door of the building noting that it’s an unsafe structure.
Main Street is closed between Boyles and Cambria Streets.
The owner of the building has been notified.
The building is scheduled to be demolished starting on Wednesday.
That portion of Main Street will remain closed for at least the next couple of days.
