Penn State Police Warn Against Ticket Scams

Penn State police are already warning football fans about ticket scams ahead of the 2023 season.

Police say they’re investigating various online scams for game tickets, with some victims losing up to $900.

Police say the scammers create bogus ticket offers on various social media platforms, and after a payment is received, the seller’s account is then deleted and can’t be tracked.

Penn State Athletics and Ticketmaster are the only “authorized” sources for Penn State tickets.

The Nittany Lions kick off their season Saturday night, at 7:30 p.m., at Beaver Stadium.
