The largest airport in Centre County has a new name.
The University Park Airport is being renamed the State College Regional Airport.
Officials say the new name better clarifies the location of the airport along with providing a better description of its service area.
Penn State owns the airport.
The Centre County airport authority oversees the commercial airline operations and airport parking.
