2 Hurt in House Explosion

In State Headlines, Emergency Officials in Dauphin County say 2 people were hurt Tuesday morning when a gas leak caused a home to explode. It happened around 9am Tuesday morning in Susquehanna Township. Police say contractors were working at the home and hit a gas line.

When Fire Crews arrived, they found a high explosive level of gas inside the home and immediately evacuated. Officials say the house exploded just seconds after the last Firefighter escaped. The two people injured include a contractor and a person in a nearby home, but Officials believe their injuries are not life-threatening.

The Red Cross is assisting those impacted as Authorities investigate.
