A man is in custody after police say he robbed the Sheetz on Chestnut Avenue in Altoona.
Police tell us Leonard McKinnon walked into the Sheetz on Monday and made his way behind the front counter.
Mckinnon claimed to have a gun hidden and told the cashier quote you know the routine.
Mckinnon stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store.
On September 15th, the Altoona Police detectives positively identified McKinnon as the suspect through investigation.
Mckinnon was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges including robbery, terroristic threats and simple assault.
He’s currently being held in the Blair County Prison on $250 thousand dollars cash bail.
