Today a Cambria County woman was arraigned on animal cruelty related charges after she was accused of leaving a dog outside in single digit temperatures.
Authorities say in December police were contacted by Penelec workers after they found a dog tied outside at a residence along Market Street in Fallentimber.
Investigators say the dog did not have sufficient shelter, food or water.
Police say the dog was removed from the home and charges of animal cruelty and disorderly conduct were filed against 23-year-old Angela Thompson.
