A Cameron County man is facing several felony charges including sexual abuse of children and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age according to the criminal complaint.
State police say they spoke with an individual in May of this year who reported that at some point between June and August of 2012, when he was seven years old, he was the victim of indecent assault at a home in Shippen Township.
The complaint says the victim was under the care of Peter Elov Farren, 50, when the assault occurred in Farren’s bedroom.
According to police, when they interviewed Farren he initially denied the victim’s claims, but later admitted to sexual contact with the victim.
Farren is currently being held in Potter County Jail on $35,000 bail
