The Centre County Courthouse will soon be getting some work done.
The construction contract was finally awarded for the project
To repair the retaining walls surrounding courthouse.
The walls are over 100 years old.
Consultants recommended that the work be done as soon as possible.
The Centre County Commissioners approved the contract today with a lengthy construction schedule
“We’re hoping within 30 days to have permits in hand. were being optimistic.then the project would continue through the winter as the weather allows and hopefully be done by late summer, early fall.”
The total cost of the courthouse construction contract is just under 210 Thousand dollars
