In Centre County, another court appearance was made Monday by a man who is already serving a lengthy state prison sentence.
In 2018, Nnaemeka Ani was charged with breaking into a series of Centre region apartments.
Police say one of those break ins included a rape case which resulted in Ani being sentenced to 8 years in state prison.
On Monday, Ani was back in court to sentenced for other cases from 2018 and 2019.
At one point, during those years, Ani, a former Penn State grad student was termed a “one man crime wave” with his bail set at $5 million.
He entered guilty pleas to two cases involving apartment break ins and was sentenced to up to two years in each case, which will run concurrent with his current sentence.
Charges from three other criminal cases again Ani were dismissed.
