One individual has died as a result of a vehicle vs pedestrian crash in Centre County Friday night, police say.
According to a press release, the individuals in the vehicle did not see the pedestrian step onto the roadway due to the weather conditions.
Police say the vehicle struck the pedestrian, identified as Joseph Mayes, 56, who then landed in a small stream nearby.
Police also say that all occupants of the vehicle pulled the pedestrian out of the stream and began to perform CPR until police and EMS crews arrived.
