Flt 93 Rose Garden Theft

State police in Somerset County are investigating the theft of approximately $1,000 worth of fencing that had been delivered to the Remember Me Rose Garden in Stoystown.

Police say sometime between the evenings of Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3, an unknown individual(s) stole wooden, split-rail fencing from the memorial garden.

The Remember Me Rose Garden was created as a “living tribute” to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Investigators say the fencing was going to be used for future renovations at the memorial.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact PSP Somerset at 814-445-4104.
