And authorities in Bedford County say a New Paris woman faces charges after overdosing on heroin while caring for a 4-year-old child.
Police say 23-year-old Harleigh Knisely was found unresponsive at a home along Bedford Street on August 24th.
Troopers say she later admitted to driving to Maryland to purchase the drugs which she suspected were laced with Fentanyl.
Knisely faces charges of child endangerment and disorderly conduct.
