On Tuesday, Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff and Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman announced a new grant for the rehabilitation and development of the Kepler Community Pool in Bellefonte.
“This return of taxpayer investment in the Kepler Community Pool will go a long way to revitalize and renew this asset so important to the Bellefonte/Spring/Walker/Inter-Valley region, This additional funding will go to help getting this tremendous community asset opened as quickly as possible.”
Among the planned changes are a new wading pool, as well as improved ADA access opportunities, landscaping and signage.
“The Kepler Community Pool has been a staple of the community for more than 50 years,” Corman added. “I am thankful this funding will fix the structural deficiencies in the pool so future generations can enjoy it for many years to come.”
