A former Penn State student charged with damaging the Nittany Lion Shrine last month faces a preliminary hearing next week.
Police say 23 year old Julia Cipparulo admits damaging the shrine including breaking off one of the Lion’s ears.
She’s also accused of vandalizing other campus sites during Spring Commencement Weekend.
Cipparulo is charged with 4 felonies.
During her arraignment, a judge set a July 6th preliminary hearing date.
Cipparulo remains free on $26,000, unsecured bail. Thats almost the same amount listed as the cost to repair the damage.
