Spring officially begins March 19th, but on Sunday temperatures in some areas across the region reached the 60s.
People and animals were out enjoying the early spring weather.
“I always take my dog for a ride and then we always do a walk usually everyday if we can We did about two miles walk and we’ll go home and probably in another two hours she’ll want to go again.”
Colin Howell said he was born in the United Kingdom, but has lived in the Clearfield area for about 40 years.
“I’m retired so I walk as much as I can and today’s beautiful because it’s just the right temperature, When I see the sun shining, and the weather getting warmer, and the days getting longer, it excites me because then I can get out more.”
Even though the weather was warming up, some people wore jackets, sweatshirts, or pants going outdoors Sunday. Howell said he is still happy with the outcome.
“I’ve been here in March when we’ve had four foot of snow, so we’re lucky right now to get this great weather.”
