County Election officials across our region say they are not expecting too big of a turnout Today for the Primary Election. Especially with the Presidential candidates already decided.
However there are still a handful of significant Local and Statewide races on the ballot that are bringing voters to the polls.
Election workers in Cambria County say voters showed up in waves throughout the day
And they expect those waves to be much larger in November.
“You have your early birds and then you get a slack period, then it picks up before and after lunch and right before supper, between supper and closing time you start getting more in.”
“I’m quite sure that the Fall Election, in November will be a lot more people. We’re not expecting a lot, but you never know.”
