It is a big day in University Park as Today Penn State announced their new Athletic Director following the retirement of Sandy Barbour.
Patrick Kraft was named the new Athletic Director for Penn State.
Kraft is well accomplished in his collegiate administration career.
For the past 15 years he’s worked at Temple University, Loyola Chicago, Indiana University and more recently at Boston College as their Athletic Director .
Earlier this Afternoon Penn State President Elect Neeli Bendapudi welcomed Kraft to the Nittany Lion Family.
Kraft thanked Penn State’s former AD Sandy Barbour and said the Athletic Director world is small so he’s gotten to know Barbour over the years.
Kraft has reportedly already added “WE ARE” to his vocabulary.
