Penn State Pow-Wow

This past weekend, community members got a taste of American Indian culture during Penn State’s seven day annual powwow with many native nations across the continent.

An American Indian powwow is a traditional event where people sing and dance and share traditional foods along with the language and culture.

The event was not only a chance for those from different nations to come together, but to also give people in Central Asia a chance to experience something they otherwise may have never encountered.
