This Saturday marked national Small Business Saturday and many of our local organizations took part.
The Bottle Works Ethnic Art Center hosted over a dozen artisans and crafters as part of this special day. Their mediums varied from fiber art to painting to even stone carving.
“It’s super important to shop small because first of all our local artists need to have some sort of income, All that money that you pay when buying local art, that money all stays in our economy. Those artists are spending money in our restaurants and other businesses. It’s just super important to support our local artists and make sure that that money stays here in Johnstown.”
