Officials say one person was injured and multiple pets were killed in a Cambria County house fire Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency responders say, around 2:30 p.m., they received initial reports of fire with entrapment at a home on the 400 block of Wilbur Street in South Fork.
Responders arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire spewing from the house.
Officials say the people who lived there made it out of the home, but several pets were unable to escape.
One person was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The house sustained heavy structural damage.
South Fork, Summerhill, St. Michael and Portage fire departments responded along with Forest Hills and Portage EMS.
