Authorities in Centre County say the trial has been delayed for a former State College psychologist accused of raping a child.
Jury selection was originally scheduled for Monday for Richard Lenhart who was charged last year by the state attorney general’s office with sexually assaulting a child.
The victim told police that Lenhart had reportedly raped her several times, between 2006 and 2013.
Lenhart has denied the charges and was released from jail last week after his bail was reduced.
His jury selection has now been rescheduled for December.
Lenhart was previously arrested in 2014 on charges of sexually assaulting two patients.
He pleaded no contest and served a state prison sentence.
