The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office has reached a settlement with the owners of three student housing complexes in State College over efforts to terminate leases early.
Attorney General Dave Sunday says the ownership group sought to end leases for tenants in more than 100 apartment units after purchasing the properties and planning major renovations.
Under the settlement the owners will pay $75,000 including $60,000 in restitution for former tenants and $15,000 in costs.
