Two more defendants have pleaded guilty in the Federal Racketeering case tied to a contraband smuggling operation at the Cambria County Prison.
Federal Prosecutors say Asiah Young-Atwell a former prison nurse from Johnstown and Monique Valencia of Phoenix, Arizona admitted to participating in the scheme.
Investigators say Young-Atwell accepted bribes to smuggle cell phones and THC vape pens into the prison while Valencia helped facilitate payments connected to the operation.
The pair are among 10 people indicted in the case.
Sentencing is scheduled for October.
Prosecutors say both face up to 20 years in federal prison.
