State Police releasing today enforcement and crash results from this year’s Thanksgiving travel period.
Between November 23rd and 27th troopers say they investigated 970 crashes resulting in 2 deaths and about 200 injuries. That’s down from the same time last year.
Troopers noted that alcohol played a role in 48 crashes which is about half the amount of alcohol related crashes in 2021.
They say they arrested 539 people and issued about 27-thousand tickets over the 5 day period.
