UPMC Altoona Union Agreement

Registered nurses at UPMC Altoona voted on a new three year union contract that focuses on the growing staffing crisis at the hospital.

The new agreement means there could be an opportunity for almost 28% in wage increases for nurses over the three year contract.

It also means an accelerated career ladder charge pay and a night program differential and increased start rate for new nurses.

These negotiated terms have been five months in the making.
