Fire authorities confirm to us that fireworks are what caused a house fire last night in Cambria County.
Upper Yoder Fire Chief Tim Reitz says the blaze on the 400 block of Clearfield Street broke out just after 9:30.
He says fireworks ignited a bush in the front yard and it quickly spread to the house.
Reitz says the 3 people inside the house got out safely.
A portion of the attic crawl space was damaged in the fire, but the rest of the house has moderate smoke and water damage.
Upper Yoder Police Chief tells us their investigation is ongoing and he will consult with the District Attorney to see if charges will be filed.
