The Bedford County Chamber Board of Directors are sponsoring chamber memberships for any entrepreneur under the age of 21. And the first entrepreneur to be sponsored is just nine years old.
Accompanied by his Pop, Tukka Saari of Everett Pa received a sponsorship at the Bedford County Chamber quarterly membership meeting Tuesday Afternoon.
The idea behind Tie Dye by Tukka sparked after Saari received multiple tie dye kits for his birthday and began showering his family and friends with original clothing items.
Saari said he created his tie dye business to express his artistic abilities, to help those in need and to one day own a Lamborghini
“Im going to try and make an empire of my business and hopefully get a lot of employees.”
As part of the program, young entrepreneurs get all of the benefits of chamber membership for free until they turn 21. That includes marketing, exposure, networking and business resources.
