Ag Progress Days

Staying in Center ounty today is opening day for the AG Progress Days and organizers tell us it’s a busy one.

Its the state’s largest outdoor agricultural expo at Penn State’s Russel E. Larson Research Center in Ferguson Township.

There’s more than 400 exhibitors, along with experts from Penn State’s extension service providing information on a wide variety of topics.

For farmers and others, its about networking and seeing friends and neighbors.

“Farmers and the industry, were like big family.no matter where we go it impact us.your food comes from teh farm. ag progress is a week of build up and then three days where we get to meet and show the public exactly what we do.”

An estimated 45-thousand visitors. Are expected at AG Progress Days which continues through Thursday.
