State police say a fire marshal has been called in to investigate the cause of Saturday’s fire that damaged multiple properties in Curwensville and left three firefighters injured.
Troopers say the blaze destroyed one garage and damaged another, while also damaging the two homes that the garages were attached to.
Authorities say two firefighters became trapped inside the destroyed garage after the roof collapsed on it Saturday afternoon.
They, along with a third firefighter, were treated for minor injuries, according to officials.
Investigators say the damage caused by the blaze is estimated at approximately $100,000.
