One person is dead after a vehicle and tractor-trailer collided on I-80 Friday evening in Clearfield County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
According to a press release, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes at mile marker 123 just before 8:30 p.m.
State police say the driver of the tractor-trailer lost control on the sleet-covered roadway, causing it to jackknife across both lanes of traffic.
State police also said that the driver of the other vehicle was not able to stop in time from hitting the back of the trailer.
The press release states that Khagendra Poudel, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. Poudel was a passenger in the vehicle.
