Authorities with the State College Police Department say a woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer on Route 322 in Harris Township.
Investigators say the woman, who is believed to be in her late 60s, was driving an SUV when the two vehicles collided along the 5600 block of the Mount Nittany Expressway.
Authorities say first responders were initially dispatched to the scene around 12:30 p.m.
Officials say the crash investigation is still ongoing and the woman’s identity is being withheld at this time.
