After another act of vandalism at a Centre County park officials are speaking out about the problem.
Township employees say they noticed tire tracks on the ball field at Spring Creek Park in College Township Yesterday Morning.
State College Police say someone drove a vehicle onto the playing field and damaged the turf between Saturday and Monday.
Township officials saying the first bad acts were reported to police in August when damage was sustained at Dalevue Park.
“Parks obviously the activity is down in the winter months but our parks are open three sixty five during the year there for the community to take advantage of, it’s disheartening that someone would deliberately damage the parks like this.”
The Township Parks are closed after sundown.
The parks do not have cameras right now, but getting cameras put up is a possibility to try to stop vandalism and after-hours visitors.
