An area around Main Street in Gallitzin was blocked off as several police vehicles and emergency vehicles investigated a truck they feared had a bomb on it.
Gallitzin Police told our crew on scene they were called to the area of Main Street and Chestnut Street late this afternoon as two people were involved in some sort of altercation. As part of the investigation, a box truck was discovered with a suspicious box on it.
Pennsylvania State Police assisted and called in the bomb squad from Greensburg as a five-block radius was closed off during the investigation. Around 8:00 p.m. the all-clear was given and the truck was towed away.
One person was detained and one person wanted for questioning is still at large
Nearby homes and businesses were evacuated during the investigation.
