A fire at building yesterday morning, fortunately Clearfield county dispatch tells us no one was injured. They tell us crews were called to the building on Turnpike Avenue in Lawrence Township around 6:40 yesterday morning.
A 30 year resident of the neighborhood described to us what he saw when he noticed the fire.
We heard noises and by that time the fire truck slowly started to show up. When I first saw it, the main road where you can see from the front there is all glass and you could just see the fire just rolling and like a big first. And by that time, it started going through the roof.”
Authorities shut down a section of the Turnpike Avenue as soon as fire trucks started showing up. The state police investigation into the cause is ongoing. Stay tuned. More news and weather coming up right after this.
