Somerset Borough Police Chief, Randy Cox says the victim, a Lancaster man was reportedly shot twice outside the Holiday Inn Express.
Investigators say the victim was found outside the front door of the hotel around 1:30 am this morning.
According to the victim, police say he was standing outside by his vehicle when a black jeep arrived.
Police say a Hispanic male started confronting the victim before firing two shots at him.
Officials say the victim was reportedly shot in both thighs.
The Police Chief says the victim was taken to Conemaugh Hospital and has been released.
No information has been released yet by police about the suspect in the shooting.
