I’m here at the Southmont Municipal building where people have been coming in and out, to cast their ballots.
Several of these municipal races include council members, county coroners, sheriff’s, and school boards.
These races Today will tell us who will proceed to the November election.
A few of them are contested
Like Johnstown City Council where there are five Democrats on the ballot and only four spots.
And for State College Boro council there’s six Democrats on the ballot but only three will make it.
In Altoona their city council has six Republicans on the ballot with four spots open.
And Punxsutawney Borough council has eight Republicans listed but only four will make it.
You still have a few more hours to vote if you haven’t already the polls are open until 8:00 tonight.
