Educators at the Penns Manor Area School District have reportedly reached a tentative agreement on a new 4-year contract.
Penns Manor teachers have been striking for eight consecutive school days after the teachers union disagreed with healthcare and the retirement incentives set in the new contract.
Carl Beard, the Labor Council for the Penns Manor School District, confirmed that the strike has ended.
Officials say students and teachers are scheduled to return to class on Friday.
