Preliminary work started Today for a Clearfield County bridge project.
Because of this Penndot says drivers will see equipment being moved into place at Powell Street in the Village of Hawk Run.
Once everything is in place, which Penndot says will hopefully be this Thursday Powell Street will be closed and the bridge spanning Emigh Run will be completely removed and replaced among other improvements.
A detour will be in place using Route 53 and Pardee Road.
The project is expected to be finished by late August.
