State College Business Owner Pleads Guilty

A State College-area business owner who previously pleaded guilty to tax evasion appeared in court Tuesday morning where she was sentenced to serve 7 years probation.

Last August, authorities with the AG’s office charged Yean Ngan after she reportedly failed to pay nearly $600,000 in sales and employee withholding taxes from 2017 to 2022.

Authorities say an audit of Ngan’s businesses revealed the tax discrepancies.

Ngan, who owns the Little Szechuan PA, Tea-Time State College, and Little College Food Court, pleaded guilty to multiple charges in September.
