UPMC Altoona hosted a job fair looking to hire for all departments.
It was held at the Station Medical Center facility.
Interested participants could apply for everything from nursing staff to nutritional support staff to housekeeping staff.
Like everywhere UPMC is feeling a pinch with available staff.
“We want to bring people in so we can fill out vacancies, but we also wasn’t to provide the opportunities for growth, career growth. You know, a lot of people have entered into the hospital on an entry level and then being able to advance their career.”
