The Blair Media Blood Blitz was held in Blair County on Tuesday. The Blood Drive was held at the Altoona Junior High building. Organizers say it’s a great way to make a profound impact on the lives of others.
Autumn Moore of the American Red Cross saying: “You can’t beat that feeling in that your blood product might have gone to help a Cancer patient, an automobile accident patient, someone who has had a heart attack. Most people in the United States have somebody in their family who have needed blood products.”
Their goal is to bring in over 200 units of blood.
