The folks here at TireTown in State College told me that a lot of their customers don’t realize they need new tires until their car has trouble stopping on ice or snow.
Christian Teter is the Sales Manager at TireTown and tells me that this is one of the busiest times of the year for them.
So far this fall season has had nice weather, but temperatures this week are supposed to drop into the low thirties. Teter says that if you want to avoid being stuck waiting for ‘winter tires’
With everyone else after the first winter storm, you have to prepare now.
“Best time is actually right now, soon as that weather starts to get about forty degrees and below consistently is absolutely the best time to do it because as soon as that first snowstorm hits it’s going to be very crazy in here.”
