We have an update now in the case of a former police officer who shot another man at a Dubois area bar last year.
Officials say he was sentenced to jail time today.
Zachery Dodson was sentenced to serve 1 to 2 years in either the Jefferson or Clarion County Jails followed by 8 years of probation.
Dodson previously pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in connection to last February’s altercation and shooting at the Invictus Bar in Dubois.
Prosecutors say Dodson is also prohibited from serving as a police officer again and can no longer possess any firearms.
