New charges being filed against an Altoona man accused of threatening a police shootout earlier this month
Police say on March 2nd, a mis-dial to 911 led to an hours long standoff with 28-year-old Tershar Miller at a residence along Rosehill Drive in Logan Township.
Police say that during the standoff, Miller had threatened to shoot at officers and to burn down the home.
Police say at one point Miller threw a makeshift Molotov Cocktail that did not break.
Miller was eventually taken into custody after requesting medical assistance for a cut to his arm.
Miller is charged with several offenses, including felonies for arson, burglary and aggravated assault.
He was arraigned earlier today and is in Blair County Prison.
